The whole day is filled with blockbuster matches, as there are 3 amazing matches going to take place in the center court, in which the first match will be between Novak Djokovic [2] and Dan Evans, which will take place at 1:30 pm BST. The second big match will be between Iga Swiatek [8] and Caty McNally, and the third match will be between Jannik Sinner [1] and Aleksandar Vukic.

So let’s go; today in this blog post we will talk about Wimbledon 2025 Day 4 predictions. We will discuss the centre court, court no. 1 matches, the weather, the court conditions, and our predictions, etc.

Match-by-Match Predictions

🥎 Djokovic vs. Evans—Experience vs. Home Turf

Forecast: Djokovic wins in four sets.

A legend and an experienced player will compete in this match. Djokovic is a 7-time Wimbledon champion. Evans is a talented British player. Although Evans will receive full support from his home crowd in this match, Novak Djokovic knows how to remain calm in any situation and handle pressure very well.

Evans's playing style is that he gives more low bounce, which is considered to be very effective for a grass court like Wimbledon. But Novak's style is that he receives the ball by bending forward, so Evans will not get a chance to attack from the forehand.

As per the prediction, Djokovic is leading Evans 5-0 in head-to-head record. Evans has defeated Novak only once in a tiebreak. If Evans' first serve percentage goes above 65%, then there are chances that he may win at least a set. But if his serve goes down, then Evans will not be able to cope with Novak's flexibility. And the match will be over by team time.

Initially the entire crowd will be on Evans' side but after watching Novak's game, the crowd will calm down.

🥎 Swiatek vs. McNally—baseline chess match

Forecast: Swiatek in straight sets.

Iga Swiatek is the world's 8th-ranked tennis player. She is a superstar tennis player from Poland and has won multiple Grand Slam events. But she doesn't have that much experience on grass courts, but she has started improving.

On the other hand, Cat McNally is a left-handed player from the USA, and her serve creates an awkward angle.

The match is expected to resemble a chess match. Any serve that McNally delivers with her left hand will push Swiatek wide out of the court. But Swiatek has improved her backhand slice a bit, as this is a serve pattern that will either take care of it or neutralize it.

This year, in 2025, Swiatek has improved his serve and added a boost of 5 km/hr. That's why he is now winning 84% of his service games on grass courts, which was around 75-76% last year.

As told before, the match will be like chess; both the players will perform well in the beginning. Swiatek's inside-out forehand will keep pulling McNally from one side of the court to the other, which may disturb his balance and allow Swiatek to maintain control.

🥎Sinner vs. Vukic—power & precision

Forecast: Sinner in three clinical sets.

This match is of Power vs. Power. In this, both the players can give dangerous blows to each other. But if we specifically talk about Jannik Sinner, then his performance is a bit better. Because Jannik is the world no. 1 tennis player and has recently won a tournament. He also has experience playing on grass.

The other player, Aleksandar Vukic, is also an Australian player whose serve is the most dangerous. He is renowned for his powerful serve and aggressive approach.

If we talk about the past performance of Vukic, then in his first match itself, he marked 19 aces and told everyone how dangerous his serve is. But the break point save percentage of Vukic is very low, so much so that he does not even come in the top 50. Because in the pressure moment, when the other player wants to break his serve, he is not able to stop him. And the person in front gets the point. This is the only big weakness that can make Vukic lose in this match.

If we talk about Sinner, then in the Day 1 match itself, he scored 11 points, i.e., clean returns winner. Which means he converted the ball of the opponent into a score, not just once, but many times. Sinner focuses more on short rallies. He finishes his rally in serve, return, and winner/error. He does not play rallies for long. By doing this, he has won up to +42 points till now. Due to such kinds of rallies, the opponent does not get time for his recovery.

And Sinner’s hold rate is only 88%, which means if he gets the ball and serves, then he wins in 88% of the cases.

Due to these reasons, the chances of Vukic getting upset are looking high.

🥎 Draper vs. Cilic—youth collides with veteran serve

Forecast: Draper in five compelling sets.

In this match, on one side there will be Draper, who is a young British player, and on the other side there is a Grand Slam finalist and experienced player. In this, there is going to be a match between old and new.

Jack is a left-handed player who is a native of the US. He is also preparing for the grass court season. On the other side, there is Marin Cilic, who was a finalist at Wimbledon in 2017. He is known for his big serve and attack.

Draper’s side seems to be a bit heavy, as he recently won the Queen’s Club title, which is played on grass court only. And he is continuously winning. And he is also managing the other server. His serve of 0.78 aces is considered deadly.

Cilic's powerful slice serve is a key strength of his game. If the ball comes from the right side then Cilic's game becomes deadly. And whenever the opponent gives a weak return, then he does not hesitate to attack him without losing a chance.

Now the result depends on Draper-Cilic, whether he gets pushed behind the baseline or not. If Draper's return is deep and powerful, then it will be difficult for Cilic to stay in the rally.

Court No. 1 will host this match, and its slightly sluggish surface could potentially give Draper an advantage.
