This is the first day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival. It has prestigious races of Group 1 level, like the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup. This is a long-distance race and is considered the most important race. Only those horses participate in it that are perfect for long distance and can cover a distance of 2 miles. Its prize money is also the highest; hence, the competition is also tough.

Day 2 (July 30): Qatar Sussex Stakes – Duel on the Downs
This is the biggest race of the Qatar Goodwood Festival, whose name is the Qatar Sussex Stakes. This is also a Group 1 race, in which horses of 3 years and less age participate. And the winning prize money is almost £1 million+.

Day 4 (1 August): King George Qatar Stakes – Sprint Ka War
