The FIFA U-17 World Cup is a huge arena where all future football stars are born; it is here that the journey of becoming a good and promising footballer begins. It is here that all young and promising football players showcase their skills. Ever since its inception in 1985, the younger generation has been increasingly attracted to it. However, recently, the FIFA U-17 World Cup witnessed a landmark change, something that hadn't happened in many years. The number of participating teams has been increased. Previously, the U-17 tournament had 16 teams for 20 years. After that, the number of teams was increased from 2007 to 24. Now, the organizers have decided to include a total of 48 teams in the FIFA U-17 World Cup from 2025, which is double the previous figure.
