Delhi Capitals WPL 2026 retained and released players: Full list, prices, purse, and RTM

Delhi Capitals Women has made a significant decision this time around for the WPL 2026 season. This concerns its retained and released players list. DCW has retained five of its best players this time around, but has also released 13 players. Retained players include Jemimah R, Shafali V, Marizanne K, Annabel S, Niki P, etc. Released players include Meg L, Alice C, Jess J, Radha Y, Shikha P, Arundhati R, Minnu M, N Charani, Titas S, Taniyaa B, Sneha D, Nandini K, Sarah B, etc.

The Delhi Capitals WPL 2026 retained and released players list clearly indicates a major rebuild of the DCW squad. It remains to be seen which 13 new players DC selects in the WPL Mega Auction. Because now they don't have even a single RTM left after 5 retentions and their purse is approximately ₹5.70-₹5.75 crore, so they will have to make a new bet. But the question in the minds of fans is that despite reaching the finals last year and giving a tough fight, why did DCW consider rebuilding its old squad? Is this a new strategy or a big mistake?
